"Reason to Hope"

What gives us hope when life feels uncertain, broken, or delayed? The Christmas story reminds us that God does not act randomly or reactively — He works with perfect timing. In Galatians 4:4, Paul declares, “When the fullness of time had come, God sent His Son…” In other words, God stepped into human history at the exact moment when the world needed Him most.

This Sunday, we will explore what Scripture calls the “fullness of time” — the political, spiritual, and personal conditions into which Christ was born. Far from being an accident of history, the birth of Jesus was the unfolding of God’s precise and intentional plan of redemption. And because God was faithful then, we can trust Him now.

  • God prepared the world politically — so the gospel could spread.
  • God prepared the world spiritually — so hearts would long for a Savior.
  • God prepared the world redemptively — sending His Son at the perfect moment.
  • God prepares us personally — inviting us to become His sons and daughters.

As we open God’s Word, we’ll discover that hope is not rooted in our circumstances but in God’s timing. The same God who sent Jesus at the right time still works in the right time in our lives today. His delays are never denial — they are preparation.

We invite you to listen with expectation and allow this message to rekindle your confidence in a God who is never late, never early, but always perfectly on time. Below, you’ll find sermon notes in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to study and share as you reflect throughout the week.
